What you get

A useful picture of a driver’s record.

An MVR report provides a detailed snapshot of an individual's driving history as reported by the state Department of Motor Vehicles. Each report is pulled directly from the issuing state's DMV database and returned in a standardized format regardless of which state is queried.

License Status

Current status including active, suspended, revoked, expired, or restricted.

Violation History

Moving violations, citations, and infractions within the state's reporting window.

Suspensions & Revocations

Any periods where driving privileges were suspended, revoked, or disqualified.

Accidents & Incidents

State-reported crashes and incidents on record.

Endorsements & Restrictions

CDL endorsements, motorcycle endorsements, corrective lens requirements, and other restrictions.

License Classification

License class and type, including commercial (CDL) designations.

Transparent access fees

MVR state access fees.

Each MVR report costs a flat $5.00 PreSearch service fee plus a state-imposed access fee that varies by state. State access fees are set by each state's DMV and are passed through at cost with no markup. Prices shown are current as of January 2026 and are updated as states adjust their fee schedules.

Ongoing compliance

MVR checks that do not stop at the first pull.

Most screening providers treat an MVR as a one-time transaction. You order it, you get the report, and that's it. If you need another one in six months or a year, you have to remember to order it again.

PreSearch handles MVR checks as part of your ongoing compliance requirements. When you add driving record checks to a position's compliance rules, the system tracks when each person's MVR was last pulled and when the next one is due. When a renewal comes up, PreSearch handles it. No manual reordering, no tracking expiration dates in a spreadsheet, no people falling through the cracks.

1Set the schedule once
Define renewal frequency for each position and apply it automatically.
2Automatic renewals
When a check is due, the reorder is initiated and tasks appear if needed.
3Always know where you stand
See current drivers, upcoming renewals, and attention items in one view.

Built for real roles

Keep driver requirements in the work, not in a spreadsheet.

MVR reporting can fit the driving responsibilities you actually manage, whether driving is the job or simply part of it.

Transportation & Fleet

CDL drivers, delivery drivers, field technicians, anyone operating a company vehicle.

Churches & Camps

Staff and volunteers transporting children or members in church vans, camp buses, or personal vehicles on behalf of the organization.

Healthcare & Senior Care

Home health workers, patient transport staff, and mobile care providers.

General Employers

Any position where driving is a regular or incidental job function, including sales, maintenance, and management roles with company vehicles.

Real people, practical support

A driver compliance program should come with help.

Talk through your roles, renewal schedule, and record needs with a person who can help you fit the program to your organization.
